Our Baby Ballerina class is designed for children 3-5 years old. This class is a 45 minute interactive class to encourage social involvement, gross motor skills, rhythm and expression, and a general appreciation of music and dance. Your little dancer will learn the very fundamentals of ballet while have a fun time!

Angelina Ballerina Dance Academy

Our Angelina Ballerina Dance Academy classes are based on the world-famous dance character from the beloved children’s book series, Angelina Ballerina. When little girls share in Angelina’s experiences, they are inspired to go after their big dreams too. Students will follow different Angelina story each month and features lessons lead by the actual voice from the animated television series. Classes are broken up into two age levels, 3-4 year olds, and 4-5 year olds. Classes for AB are 45 minutes long. On sign-up students will receive their very own Angelina Ballerina dance kit which includes a pink leotard, pink ballet skirt, Angelina Ballerina Academy t-shirt, book, stickers, and a bag.

ABT’s National Training Curriculum is a program for the development and training of young students that embraces sound ballet principles and incorporates elements of the French, Italian and Russian schools of training. Under the direction of ABT Artistic Director Kevin McKenzie, ABT’s National Training Curriculum was designed and written by Franco De Vita and Raymond Lukens in collaboration with ABT’s Artistic Advisors and the Medical Advisory Board. Cynthia Harvey, as the current Artistic Director of the NTC, continues to enhance the training offered to dance teachers and dancers around the world. ABT’s National Training Curriculum assists students in training dance students to use their bodies correctly by focusing on kinetics, coordination, anatomy, and proper body alignment. Artistically, the National Training Curriculum strives to provide dance students with a rich knowledge of classical ballet technique and the ability to adapt to all styles and techniques of dance.
