Belle Maturo (ARAD RAD RTS)

Born and raised in Newcastle Australia, Belinda has studied dance at some of the most recognized and prestigious ballet schools. Among these are the Robyn Turner School of Dance where she was accepted for the Australian Bursary and Finalist in the Isabelle Anderson Awards. During the latter years of studying ballet she became a full-time student with Marie Walton Mahon and successfully passed all vocational exams with the Royal Academy of Dance, she was later invited to attend company classes with the Sydney Dance Company. Belinda has spent many years abroad traveling with her successful professional dancing career and danced professionally in Europe, Asia, and the United States. In 2010 she opened Perfect Pointe School of Dance in Covina, California. She is a Registered Teacher with the Royal Academy of Dance, a mentor for up and coming teachers for the RAD, affiliate member with the Australian Teachers of Dance, licensed Angelina Ballerina Dance Academy location holder, and the United States sole distributor for the dance brand Energetiks. Belinda’s mission is to instruct ballet to the highest standards. She motivates students by showing them a love and appreciation for the art of dance. Belinda exemplifies the highest ethical standards by obeying the RAD Code of Conduct and Professional Practices, and by complying with all U.S.C. codes. Belinda Maturo is an ABT® Certified Teacher, who in 2015 successfully completed the ABT® Teacher Training intensive in Pre-primary through Level 3 of the ABT® National Training Curriculum ABT

Chloé Grové (ARAD)

hloé’s training started at age 4 and included the RAD (Royal Academy of Dance) and Cecchetti methods, as well as some Vaganova. She completed her Advanced 2 in RAD (with Distinction) and Advanced 1 in Cecchetti (Honours). Chloé performed as a professional dancer for over 16 years as a Senior Soloist with Joburg Ballet (formerly The South African Ballet Theatre - SABT), and has danced numerous soloist and principal roles. During her professional career, she worked with top producers and choreographers such as Patricia Neary, Janeck Schergen, Ronald Hynd, Natalia Makarova and Maina Gielgud. She performed in all the great classics as well as neo-classical pieces by George Balanchine, Kenneth McMillan and Choo San Goh. Chloé obtained her Certificate in Ballet Teaching Studies (CBTS) with the RAD and is currently a registered teacher with Perfect Pointe School of Dance. Chloé is also an ABT® Certified Teacher, who has successfully completed the ABT® Teacher Training Intensive in Pre-Primary through Level 3 of the ABT® National Training Curriculum.

Michelle Williams

Ms. Michelle has been teaching primarily Baby Ballet, Angelina Ballerina Dance Academy and Preprimary at Perfect Pointe since 2014. Since January of this year, she has begun working on her Certified Ballet Teaching Studies with the Royal Academy of Dance. Prior to her teaching career, Ms. Michelle had humble beginnings learning ballet at the age of 14. She loved ballet so much that she took as many classes that would accept a teen beginner in the area, even if it meant being enrolled at multiple studios at once! She also took advantage of the other dance styles offered as well, but ballet remained her favorite. She received a summer intensive scholarship from Charter Oak High School Dance Department to go to Inland Pacific Ballet Academy, where she trained from 2006-2009. Ms. Michelle earned her BA in Dance from UC Riverside in 2012. Ms. Michelle also got certified in Progressing Ballet Technique from Marie Walton-Mahon last summer. She made the Athletic Garage Dance Team in 2016, but due to an injury had to drop out of the 2017 competition season. Ms. Michelle looks forward to progressing as a dance student and teacher for years to come!

Rebecca House

Rebecca began dancing at age three with her native-born English teacher, who was part of the very first group of examiners of R.A.D. in the United States. In her childhood years in Northern California, she passed all her R.A.D. exams with High Honors, danced roles in the San Jose and San Francisco Ballet Companies, and often performed and competed in ballet, tap, and jazz. Rebecca earned a Bachelor’s of Arts in Psychology from Pitzer College, then a Master’s of Arts in Education and teaching credential from the Rossier School of Education at U.S.C. She has taught children more than a decade and dance the past seven years along with raising her three children. She holds membership with the Royal Academy of Dance and Dance Masters of America, and enjoys dance professional development. She enjoys sharing her passion and knowledge with students and hopes to pass along a high regard for dance as an art form.

Miki Amen

Miki Amen graduated with Honors while majoring in Dance and Choreography at the University of California, Riverside with a Chancellor’s Performance Scholarship in Dance. Miki toured for two years, traveling around the United States, with the live stage shows “Sesame Street Live,” and “Dragon Tales Live” under VEE Corporation. She is also a member of the Taiko Center of Los Angeles, a Japanese drumming ensemble. And with TCLA, has united tap and taiko at such venues as the Hollywood Bowl, Ford Theatre, and the Japan American Theatre. Some of Miki’s film and television credits include: “187” starring Samuel L. Jackson, “Gilmore Girls,” “Seventh Heaven,” and the “O.C.” In addition, Miki is pursuing the art of teaching dance and has been teaching since the age of 15 at various institutions such as, the University of Redlands, Riverside Community College, Jane Addams Middle School in Lawndale, and Claremont College among others. Miki is currently teaching at Riverside City College, Santa Clarita Ballet Academy, Perfect Pointe in LaVerne, Village Dance Arts in Claremont, as well as out of her home dance studio.

Katherine Finnigan

Katherine has been dancing since the age of 4. She has studied various styles such as jazz, ballet, tap, lyrical, and modern/ contemporary. Her competitive career began at age 6 and lasted 12 years. She has been the recipient of numerous national awards and finished in the top 10 of the World Dance Championship Series. Her professional career consists of choreography awards, a music video, print work for All About Dance, and a dancer for Points of View Modern Dance Company. With her degree in business administrations, received from California State University of Fullerton, Katherine wishes to some day own a dance studio of her own. But for now, her desire to share her passion for dance has brought her to Perfect Pointe School of Dance, where she hopes to continue teaching and developing strong technique in the next generation of dancers.

Stephanie Kjos

Stephanie trained in Southern California in various styles with an emphasis on jazz and lyrical. She has trained with State Street Ballet of Santa Barbara and the Radio City Rockettes. Stephanie was a principle dancer in Creations Dance Theatre, a Los Angeles ballet and contemporary company. She has also performed in Los Angeles Choreographers Carnival, Dancescape, Dance Spot, Mix Match Dance Festival, and various other festivals. She was a member of Storm Dance, an all star jazz and hip hop team based out of Orange County. Stephanie is currently the director of the Athletic Garage Dance Team, who has won multiple National championships in the jazz division. She also choreographs and performs with LA unbound and with the Athletic Garage Dance Center. Last year she attended the Dance Teacher Summit where she received training from the industry’s top choreographers and teachers. Stephanie holds a BA in entertainment management from Cal State Fullerton and currently teaches at various dance studios around Southern California.

Prattamaporn (Bow) Viriyothai

Ms. Bow was born and grew up in Thailand. She started her ballet at the age of 8 years old with RAD program. She continued the RAD program and finish grade 8 and Intermediate Foundation until high school. She graduated with first class honors, silver medal majoring in dramatic of arts at Faculty of Mass Communication, Chiang Mai University, Thailand. In 2013, she went on to complete master of art in the dramatic major at the top Thailand University, Chulalongkorn University. Ms. Bow began teaching career at the age of 15 as an assistant teacher and became a ballet teacher when she was 17 years old. She opened her dance studio, Vivaz Dance and Music School, in Chiang Mai, Thailand. Ms. Bow now resides in the U.S. and study to be a certified ballet teaching of Royal Academy of Dance (RAD).

Kaitlyn Lamb

Kaitlyn has been dancing since the age of 3, growing up dance was her life. She has done all forms of dance including ballet, tap, jazz, hip hop, etc. Although dance didn’t come super easy to her she worked hard everyday to make it second nature. She grew up working with kids volunteering in teacher’s classrooms and helping her mother with daycare. Once she was old enough she started helping assist in her teachers dance classes and soon became a teacher herself. Her first class she taught was a tumbling class at a local dance studio. It was her passion to help kids find their own love for the art. She then started teaching more classes including some tap and jazz classes. All her past accomplishments as a tumbling/dance instructor has brought her here to teach at Perfect Pointe School of Dance.

Andi Rodriguez

Andrea Rodriguez is a graduate from The Boston Conservatory at Berklee where she received her BFA in Contemporary Dance and Performance in the Spring of 2017. She is
originally from California where she attended the Los Angeles County High School for the Arts. Andrea has attended various workshops which include Springboard X in NYC, LA
Contemporary Dance program in Los Angeles, The Brockus Project in Los Angeles, Perry-Mansfield in Colorado and the Luckman Intensive in California. Andrea’s performance
experience includes dancing at the New World Center in Miami as a Young Arts Finalist, performing at the Kennedy Center in Washington D.C as a Presidential Scholar in the Arts,
excerpts of Cunningham repertoire performed at The Institute of Contemporary Arts in Boston and Horton repertoire on the West Coast. She has also performed works by choreographers such as Aszure Barton, Sidra Bell, Brian Brooks, Adam Barruch, Thang Dao, Dwight Rhoden, Gina Buntz, Andre Tyson, Julie Schulmann, Merce Cunningham, Zoe Scofield, Jiri Kylian, among other artists. Andrea has also been cast in several independent dance films including Authentic directed by Jordan Hwang. Recently, Andrea danced in a Beyoncé Tribute show at The Berklee Performance Center in Boston. This show was accompanied by Beyonce's original all female band and choreographed by Ebony Williams. Andrea plans to use her commercial and concert based training to continue her career on the West Coast as a performer and dance instructor.
